Enjoying Life

Ecclesiastes 3:4
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,

Ecclesiastes 8:15
So I commend the enjoyment of life, because there is nothing better for a person under the sun than to eat, drink, and be happy. Then joy will accompany them in their toil all the days of the life God has given them under the sun.

Last Saturday I went to prom, and I learned a lot about life that night. I learned how to simply let go of all my stress, not to worry about what people were thinking, and enjoy life.

A time to weep, A time to mourn
There are times in our lives that we mourn and weep. It could be a death, a close friend moving, or a close friend betraying you. It could be your children graduating or your children getting married. For Christians, this pain is temporary, for non-Christians this pain overwhelms their life. When you have Jesus in your life, He comforts you, like a father would his children.

A time to laugh, A time to dance
Just like when we weep or mourn, we laugh and dance. There are times in our lives to laugh and enjoy the time you have with people that make you happy, and prom was that time for me. God knows that I am a bad dancer, but I danced anyways. I enjoyed dancing, and making a fool of myself. It's hard to say, but for some people, the Earth is the closest they are going to get to Heaven. For Christians, Earth is the closest they are going to get to hell. I pray through Christ's grace we as Christians can show people true happiness in Jesus.

Pray this week that we will enjoy ever moment we are given, and when we are given a time of weeping that we remind ourselves of the comfort that Jesus gives freely. Also pray for everyone to become fully funded for the upcoming mission trip. Thank you again for all the people that have helped me be fully funded for this trip. Thank you for your prayers. It means so much to me. Please comment and share with friends and family. If you have any questions please email me, at my new email: (You can still reach me through my old email at anytime)

God bless and enjoy life.
