Peru Mission Journal (5-24-12)

Lifelong Impact

This trip is fast approaching; we have 21 days until we depart. We are having informational meetings about the trip, and what we need to do to get ready. Each time we have a meeting, we have a time where our team leader encourages and teaches us about how Christ is going to explode in our lives.

In one of the meetings, our leader was explaining to us how this trip is only a short time period, but it will have an everlasting impact on us and our lives. This thought had a profound collision in my heart on how I look at everything I do throughout my life.

He said that this trip will not end when we leave, because it will continue to bless the people in Peru eternally. God gives each and every Christian the unique opportunity to do His will. When you do His will, the outcome will have an everlasting impact on the people around you.

"Well done, thou good and faithful servant. Thou hast been faithful over a few things. I will make thee ruler over many things." - Matthew 25:21

This week please pray for the trip, and how we can let God work through our team to have an everlasting impact on Peru. Thank you for your prayers. They mean so much. Please comment and share with friends and family. If you have any questions please email me at JonathanSpencerAdams@gmail.com
